Essential entry requirements for tourists travelling to the Maldives.
Tourist visa is granted on arrival subject to Immigration clearance. Travellers should hold an MRZ passport with at least 1 month validity, confirmed return/onward travel, confirmed accommodation and sufficient funds or an approved sponsorship arrangement. Entry is determined by Maldives Immigration at the port of entry.

Foreign travellers arriving in the Maldives must submit the Traveller Declaration electronically via IMUGA within 96 hours before arrival. Submission is free of charge. Use the official government portal rather than paid third-party declaration services.
